WiP Thank You Party
On August 19, 2022, MR.WILAS CHALOEYSAT, Governor of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority and the President of the IEEE PES (Thailand) organized the IEEE PES Thank You Party “Music in the Garden” in theme “Blue Night White Party” on the occasion to thank the Advisors, Executive Committees, Committees, and all of the IEEE PES working groups at Sala Thai, Central Grand. Central Plaza Ladprao
At the event, new advisory committees were introduced and welcomed. New appointments of the Executive Committees, Committees, and the working group of IEEE PES were announced.
In addition, it was honored by Mr. Sompong Preeprem, former Governor of the Provincial Electricity Authority and former President of the IEEE PES (Thailand), Advisor, Senior Vice Chairman, and Vice Chairman who took the stage to deliver the welcoming and appreciation speech for all IEEE PES working groups who has successfully worked and supported the activities of the association.
On this occasion, the IEEE PES Thailand Chapter also celebrates the professional achievement of Dr. Piyapan Hannarkin, Managing Director, Operational Energy Group Limited and Vice Chairman, IEEE Power & Energy Society – Thailand, Chair – Women in Power (WiP) as the award of two prestigious Asia-Pacific Organizations which are the 2022 IEEE Region 10 Women in Engineering Outstanding Professional Volunteer Award and Outstanding ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network 2022.
